Wish fulfilling temple

Manakamana Temple situated in Gorkha District is a sacred place of Hindu Goddess Bhagwati, an incarnation of Parvati. The word Manakamana is originated from two words ‘mana’ which means heart and ‘kamana’ means wish. Manakamna temple is situated 12kms from the town of Gorkha and about 104kms from Kathmandu. The temple situated on a hill overlooks the Trishuli and the Marshyangdi river valleys and provides spectacular views of the Manaslu, Himalchuli and the Annapurna ranges.
