Trek to Jimilangtso lake || Drukpath
Leaving Jangchulakha, you ascend a steep trail shaded by juniper trees. After this challenging climb, you'll walk on more level ground, followed by an up-and-down path. The sight of snow-capped Jomolhari and other mountains along the trail is truly breathtaking. You'll then cross the mountain pass of Jangchu La before descending to Jimilangtsho, a sacred mountain lake inhabited by giant trouts.
Your camp will be set up on the banks of this beautiful lake. From the campsite, you can savor mesmerizing views of the pyramid-shaped Jichu Drake, a peak representing the guardian deity of Paro Valley.
