Since our founding in early 1998 in Bhutan, we have grown into network of small offices, managed by local partners with some common shares and stakes in the company.

Wind Horse in Bhutan is owned and operated by group of Bhutanese Tour Guides. Initially it was started by two Guides and then over the years we have added several Guides as our partners. In addition to the partners, each year our company distributes part of the profit among the staffs. This has also helped us retain best staffs in Bhutan.

Our field staffs such as guides and driver are among the best. They are well trained and chosen from among the best in the country. Among others, they are also chosen for good demeanor, flexibility, humor, and willingness to work hard for your enjoyment. They are chosen for their enthusiasm and passion to travel, share and learn with you.

Since 1998, we have worked tirelessly towards the satisfaction of each and every clients. Our vision has always remained simple, clear and deeply rooted in our initial ideal – breathing life into every trip you take. In these years, we have established ourselves as one of the Top small Bhutan tour operators and Destination Management Company.

Wind Horse Tours, Treks & Expeditions is licensed and bonded by Government of Bhutan and registered member of all Tourism organization inside Bhutan such as Association of Bhutanese Tour Operator (ABTO).
